Integrating medicine into the education of graduate students
Welcome to a new initiative at UCSF that is intended to enrich your experience here and increase your options and opportunities in your future career.
The UCSF Graduate Education in Medical Sciences Training Program is a new initiative made possible through a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute that responds to the desire of many entering UCSF graduate students to initiate research careers that advances human health. Our goal is to support activities that enhance student knowledge of medical science and opportunities in disease-relevant research areas that will promote interest in this research among UCSF graduate students and will provide the tools that they need to pursue interactive investigations with clinical investigators that advance human health, either at UCSF or during their future careers.
If you have any desire to explore such opportunities, please explore this web site to learn more about this program and the opportunities it offers to all of our students from those beginning graduate school to those near the completion of thesis research.
