1. Pellet 100-500 µL cells to be stained by spinning 30 sec at full speed in microfuge

2. Aspirate off media

3. Resuspend pellet in 300 µL PBS

4. Add 700 µL 100% EtOH

5. Rock for 1 hour at RT to fix cells

6. Pellet cells by spinning and wash cells in 1 mL PBS

7. Resuspend pellet in 500 µL PBS

8. Add DAPI to 1 µg/mL (0.5 µL 1 mg/mL DAPI)

9. Stain 5 min. by rocking at RT

10. Wash cells 2X in PBS

11. Resuspend pellet in 100-500 µL PBS

12. Place 5 µL cells and 1 µL mounting media on glass slide followed by a coverslip
(no need to seal the coverslip)

13. View cells on 60X
